Replacing a Power Supply
To replace a power supply, do the following:
1. Turn off the power supply by turning the standby switch to Standby (0).
2. Remove the electrical cable from the power supply.
3. Loosen the captive screw on the power supply.
4. Pull the module out of the enclosure, as shown.
5. Insert the replacement power supply into the empty bay.
6. Tighten the captive screw on the power supply.
7. Plug the electrical cable into the power supply.
8. Turn on the power supply. Turn the standby switch to ON ( | ).
To monitor the status of the power supply, choose Storage | RAID System |
Logical/Physical view .
