Still Store Operations
Still Store Loader transfers files only to the Still Store C:User/DEFAULT
directory. If this directory has been renamed or deleted Still Store Loader
will not work. See Appendix — Still Store Loader
for more infor-
mation.
Direct FTP File Transfers
Still Store images, being files, can be transferred between computers using
FTP. If files are transferred in this way into a Still Store directory, the items
will not immediately appear in the Still Store menu browser. A Still Store
menu change directory operation (or a system reset) is required before the
browser will display FTP transferred items.
The FTP server built into the Zodiak system is tested with the Microsoft
Internet Explorer browser and the Microsoft FTP utilities. These are the
recommended programs to use for FTP with Zodiak systems. Some
browsers and FTP utilities are not compatible with the Zodiak FTP soft-
ware. These browsers do not recognize the Phar Lap Real-Time Operating
System FTP server used by Zodiak, and do not follow the established stan-
dard of performing binary transfers when communicating with an unrec-
ognized FTP server. If your browser or FTP program does not work with a
Zodiak system, use the programs recommended above instead, or contact
the maker of that browser or FTP program to request a fix.
