14.10 The HELP Function
The HELP function is not available on every machine.
Refer to your machine tool builder for more information
on the HELP function.
The HELP function can aid you in situations in which you need clear
instructions before you can continue (for example, to retract the
tool after an interruption of power). The miscellaneous functions
may also be explained and executed in a help file.
Selecting and executing a HELP function
ú Select the MOD function with the MOD key.
ú Select the HELP function with the HELP soft key
ú Use the up and down arrow keys to select a line in the
HELP file, which is marked with an #
ú Use the NC start key to execute the selected HELP
function
