11 Decommissioning
11.1 Disassembling the Sunny String-Monitor
Requirement:
☐ The Sunny String-Monitor is disconnected from voltage sources (see Section 8 "Disconnecting the
Sunny String-Monitor", page 41).
Procedure:
1. Open the doors of the Sunny String-Monitor.
2. Disconnect the string cables from the fuse holders.
3. Disconnect the DC main cable.
4. Disconnect the grounding cable.
5. Release the cable glands.
6. Pull all cables out of cable glands and cable feed-through plates.
7. Disassemble the Sunny String-Monitor.
11.2 Disposing of the Sunny String-Monitor
• Dispose of the Sunny String-Monitor in accordance with the applicable disposal regulations for electronic waste.
