Bit Rate Setup

In order to communicate with the drive, the bit rate set in the SI-S3 option card must match

the bit rate used in the network. The bit rate can be selected manually by using a drive

parameter. The SI-S3 can also be set up for automatic bit rate detection.

Setting the Bit Rate Manually

Select the correct bit rate in drive parameter F6-36. After changing F6-36, cycle the drive

power supply to enable the changes.
