Installation Spacing
Table 6 explains the required installation spacing to maintain sufficient space for airflow and
wiring. Install the heatsink against a closed surface to avoid diverting cooling air around the
heatsink.

NOTICE: Do not install the drive using the Side-by-Side method available for standard V1000 drive models.
Improper drive cooling may result in damage to the drive.
