Microphone
4. OFF, ON, TALKOVER selector switch
Sets the microphone sound output.
— [ OFF ]: Turns the microphone off.
— [ ON ]: Turns the microphone on.
— [ TALKOVER ]: Turns microphone talkover on. When sound is input to the
microphone, the volume other than the microphone channel is attenuated by -24
dB.
• You can change the talkover mode setting and attenuation level in [ Talkover Mode ]
in the Utility settings (page 126).
Using a microphone
1 Connect a microphone to the [MIC 1] or [MIC 2] terminal.

2 Slide the [OFF, ON, TALKOVER] selector switch to set the
microphone sound output.
3 Turn the [LEVEL] knob to adjust the microphone volume level.
• Note that turning the knob too far clockwise outputs the sound at a high volume.
4 Turn the MIC EQ (HI, MID, LOW) knobs to adjust the volume of
each band.
5 Speak into the microphone.
