NOTE: Region Lock does not prohibit recording over a Region. If you want to protect a
Region from recording, move or copy it into another track or virtual take.

History List and Undo / Redo

The History List is a semi-permanent record of all edits and other Playlist-modifying operations
(including recording passes) that you perform. Any operation that’s on the History List can be
undone, and with a few exceptions, redone with just a click of the mouse.

The History List provides not only the ability to undo the last edit
you performed, but also a sequence of edit operations. Multi-step
regression is handy if you’ve been experimenting with a different
approach to the project and decided that it just isn’t working, or if
you’ve performed a series of successive edits in an unsuccessful
effort to correct or improve something.

What is included in the History List
The following activities are recorded in the History List. They
can be undone as long as the list remains active for the project:

• Edit Region Start, End or Length (Region Editor

operations)

• Loop Enable
• Envelope Enable
