Replacing the Digital
Readout Battery
The digital readout operates independently of the other components
in the ICU, and is powered by its own Type AAA battery. To
change the battery:
1. Open the filter/fans compartment panel (refer to Page 58).
2. On the rear of the digital readout, remove the battery
cover (Figure 71).
3. Remove the old battery.
4. Install a new Type AAA battery (Figure 72). Position the
(+) electrode to the left.
5. Replace the battery cover.
6. Close and secure the filter/fans compartment.
