DVD is connected to ‘D’
of AV/RGB selector.
Each signal of 5.1 is
assigned to output on this
screen.

NOTE:

The 5.1 input for

surround sound is available
in INPUT-D and E of
LINE 4.

COMPONENT is selected for LINE 4D on the
REMOTE SCREEN of the Manager GUI.

Due to this setup, the X700P sends VPL-PX40 control
command to select input of COMPONENT when
LINE 4D button of the X700P is pressed.

If both RGB and component connections are used
between the X700P and the data projector, Projector
Control needs RS-232C.
CTRL-S does not support selection control of Sony’s
projector for either RGB or component connecting.
If the CTRL-S is used, VIDEO (composite) or S VIDEO
needs to be connected instead of the component.

In the case left, when the VPL-PX40 is selected, the RS-
232C is automatically set.

If it is necessary to set stereo output for DVD (not 5.1 surround), a scene memory can be applied to do as
follows.
