This example is constructed based on assumption as follows.
- Sound system used for conferences and meetings.
- Whole room size is about 15m x 20m. Divided size is about 15m x 10m each with 3 –4 meters ceiling height.
The large room can be divided with a sound-proof partition wall.
- Microphones are mainly used at close proximity to the screen and at a MC table/position.
- Adequate room acoustics are considered, such as sound isolation, reverberation time and background noise level.
Customer’s benefit on the example.
- Mid-large size room can be efficiently utilized with a partition wall. Two rooms for less attendees. One room
operation for more attendees. A multi-media presentation system is simply set up for both two rooms or one
room applications with a Control Box (custom made locally) controlling scene memory of the SRP -X700Ps.
- Adequate sound level in listening area is reproduced by front and satellite speakers for enhanced clarity.
- 6 to 8W 70V ceiling speakers are placed to reproduce mic sound uniformly. Front speakers and satellite
speakers reproduce line sources such as DVD, In turn this provides less feedback from mic/voice.
Increased clarity of voice reproduction for attendees.
- The SRP-X700P including AV/RGB selector, Provides amplifier, processing functions such as delay to remove
echo caused by distance between front and satellite speakers. Saves rack space and extra rack cost.
2. System Example (2) Multiple mid-size meeting rooms

- The satellite speakers are mounted on the ceiling and set at an angle to cover the back of the meeting area
for better sound uniformity and clarity.
The delay function in the X700P is applied to the satellite speakers, Thus removing echo caused by the
distance between the front and satellite speakers .
- Screened products, such as satellite speakers and front speakers are not used in every application.
