Replacing the Projector Lamp Module
After you remove the lamp from the projector, follow these instructions to replace the lamp.
To remove the old lamp
1. Turn off the projector by pressing the
power
button located on the remote
control. Make sure that the fan is
completely off and then disconnect the
power cable.
2. Wait at least 30 minutes for the projector
to completely cool down.
3. Pull up the outer lamp cover using
your finger.
4. Remove the outer lamp cover and keep it
in a safe place.
1. Loosen the two screws on the inner lamp
module with a Phillips No. 2 screwdriver.
The screws release from the projector but
not from the lamp module.
2. Allow sufficient time for the lamp and inner
lamp cover to cool. They should feel cool
enough to touch and to work with easily.
