Starting and Quitting
Starting the VIVID 9i
[Operating Procedure]
1 Set the power switch to ON (“ ”).
Power will be supplied to the VIVID 9i and initial set-
up is performed. After several dozen seconds,
“PLEASE OPEN LASER BARRIER AND PRESS
ANY KEY” will be displayed on the viewfinder.

ote
When turning power ON again after it has been turned
OFF, wait at least 5 seconds before doing so. Failure to ob-
serve this may result in malfunction or breakdown of the
VIVID 9i.

To ensure precise measurement, allow the unit to warm up
for at least 10 minutes.
2 Remove the lens cap from the receiving lens.

Remove the laser barrier.
