(1) ON/OFF Conditions of LEDs
The following describes the ON/OFF conditions of LEDs on the FC Switch Module.
Check the ON/OFF status of each LED to take required action.
1. ID LED
LED status Condition Required action
Illuminating in blue or OFF Normal –
„ If the ID LED does not illuminate in blue or is not OFF after passage for
three minutes or longer from power-on, a fault may occur in the FC Switch
Module. Contact your service representative.
2. Status LED
LED status Condition Required action
Illuminating in green Normal –
„ If the status LED does not illuminate after passage for three minutes or
longer from power-on, a fault may occur in the FC Switch Module. Contact
your service representative.
3. ACT LED
LED status Condition Required action
Illuminating in green Normal –
OFF
Starting the FC Switch Module is
not completed yet or an error
occurs in start of the FC Switch
Module. Check if the power of the FC
Switch Module is set to ON and
the FC Switch Module is started
normally if set to ON.
Blinking in green
slowly (1-sec interval)
A device error such as a
temperature error may occur. Contact your service
representative.
Illuminating in umber
One or more port are in the offline
status. Check the port status LED.
„ The ACT LED illuminates in umber temporarily while the FC Switch Module
is started.
„ If the ACT LED is in any status other than illuminating in green, an error
occurs in the FC Switch Module. If the error cannot be rejected in spite of
required action, contact your service representative.
