1. Turn the remote control over, and pull
on the tab to remove the battery
holder.
2. Insert the battery so that its positive (+)
terminal faces up.
3. Replace the battery holder in the
remote control.
Notes: Never place anything heavy on top of
the remote control or lay it upside-down.
This may accidentally depress the buttons for
a long time and discharge the battery.
Replace the battery when the camcorder fails
to respond to the remote control.
Remove the battery from the remote control if
it will not be used for a month or more. This
will prevent possible damage from battery
leakage. If leakage occurs, wipe up the liquid
inside the compartment and replace
the battery.
Battery Installation
The battery supplied with your remote
control is packed separately. Install it as
follows:

Battery Holder
Caution: Lithium battery. Must be
disposed of properly.
Never handle punctured or leaking
batteries. May cause burns or personal
injury.
Can cause death or injury if swallowed.
Keep out of the hands of children. If
swallowed, consult a physician
immediately for emergency treatment.
