The camcorder’s built-in titler can
store two different title pages in
memory. Each title page can be
displayed and recorded at any time.

The built-in character register
contains over 40 different characters
for creating titles with up to 32
characters on two lines.

Creating a Title

1. Attach a power source to the

camcorder, and slide the POWER
switch to the CAMERA position. Place
the ON/POWERSAVE lever in the ON
position.

2. Press the TITLER button to display the

title page graphics in the electronic
viewfinder.

Note: Press the TITLE SEL button to
display the other title page. Each time you
press this button, it will switch between the
two title pages.

3. Press the EDIT-ADV button to move

the flashing cursor to the place you
want to begin your title.

4. Select the first character for your title

by pressing the TITLE SEL + or TITLE
SEL –
button until the character you
want appears. See the “Chart of
Characters” on the next page for the
characters available in the titler’s
register.

5. After you have selected the first

character, press the EDIT-ADV button
to move the flashing cursor to the
position where you want your next
character to appear.

6. Repeat steps 4 and 5 until you have

completed the title.

7. Press the TITLE SEL button if you

title and remove the title display from
the viewfinder when you are finished.
