1. If the battery is attached to the

camcorder, remove it.

2. Align the reference arrow on the power

connector with the arrow on the
camcorder.

3. Hold the power connector flush against

the back of the camcorder and slide it
to the right in the direction of the arrow
as shown.

4. Insert the power connector’s small plug

into the DC OUTPUT jack on the DC
car cord adapter/charger.

5. Insert the plug on the DCC80 into the

vehicle’s cigarette lighter socket.

6. Slide the camcorder’s POWER switch

to the CAMERA position and place the
ON/POWERSAVE lever in the ON
position.

the Camcorder

Using the RCA DCC80 DC Car Cord Adapter/Charger to
Charge a Battery

1. If the power connector’s plug is

attached to the adapter/charger’s DC
OUTPUT
jack, remove it. The
adapter/charger can not charge a
battery and power the camcorder at the
same time.

2. Attach the battery to the

adapter/charger as shown.

3. The CHARGE indicator will light while

the battery is being charged. When the
CHARGE indicator turns off, the
battery is charged.
