As a tuning aid, you can have the CD-2e sound a guide tone from the internal speakers.

Press the [MENU] button to access the menu screen, and choose “Tuner/
Tone?”

Press the [MENU] button to access the menu screen.
Use the [ ] [ ] buttons to choose “Tuner/Tone?”
Press the [ENTER] button to confirm your choice.

While the tuner screen is displayed, press the [ENTER] button.
(The tuner screen and the guide tone screen will alternate each time you press the
[ENTER] button.)

You’ll hear the guide tone shown in the screen.

Use the [+] [-] buttons to select the name of the note you want to use as
the guide tone.

Tune your instrument to the guide tone.

To stop the guide tone, press the [EXIT] button twice.
You’re returned to the audio source screen.
Listening to a Guide Tone While Tuning

A3–A4 (factory setting)–A5 You can choose one of 25 chromatic notes in the range A3–A5.
