On the CD-2e’s rear panel, set the [POWER] switch to the “OFF” position.

If you’re operating the CD-2e on batteries, the battery indicator will be shown on the
screen.

If you continue use the CD-2e when the batteries are low, the display will indicate
“Battery Low,” and eventually the power will turn off.

conditions of use.

You must turn off the power before performing the following operations.

Switching from operation with the dedicated AC adaptor to battery operation

Switching from battery operation to operation with the dedicated AC adaptor

Note

If you want to use batteries, disconnect the dedicated AC adaptor. The batteries will not
be used as the power supply if the dedicated AC adaptor is connected.

Don’t mix new batteries with partially-used batteries, and don’t mix batteries of differing
types.

If you won’t be using the CD-2e for an extended period of time, remove the batteries to
prevent possible leaking damage.
