Recording Karaoke

Here’s how the sound from a karaoke CD and the sound of your voice from a mic can be
recorded together to an SD memory card (i.e., overdubbing that adds your voice or
performance to a song from CD).

The CD-2e provides a Center Cancel function, which lets you use a commercial CD as a simple
karaoke source. For details, refer to “Enjoying Simple Karaoke (Center Cancel)” (Page 64).

* In order to perform this operation, you’ll need the included, dedicated AC adaptor.

1

Turn on the power.

3

Prepare your external mic.

Connect your mic to the EXT MIC L/MONO jack on the CD-2e’s side panel.

* If you connect your mic to the R jack, it will only be recorded on the right channel (R).
