When channels are linked

When channels are linked, the screen appears as follows.

Channel setup screen when channels are linked

When channels are linked:

The input source selection button shows the pair of

channels.
The signal flow line is doubled.

A stereo meter (2 bars) is shown.

Touch the channel name button to show a pop-up with

buttons for each channel in the pair.

Stereo (L/R) channel

The stereo channel setting (L/R SETUP) screen appears as

follows.

The stereo channel has a limiter function. Touch the

LIMITER

button to turn it ON and OFF.

The stereo (L/R) channel does not have input source

selection buttons, a pan pot or an input monitor button.

Digital source settings (CHx-x DIGI SOURCE)

Touch the

DIGITAL

SOURCE

button on the channel settings

screen to open the following screen.

AES x-x button (“x” indicates the channel number): Set

AES/EBU digital input channel 1-8 as the input source.

AES A-B button: Set AES/EBU digital input channel A/B as

the input source.

ADAT x-x button (“x” indicates the channel number): Set

ADAT digital input channel 1-8 as the input source.

Fs CONVERT button: Turn the sampling rate converter ON

or OFF.

Level meter settings (METER SETUP)

Make level meter settings on this screen.

Peak Hold Time knob: Touch this to set the peak hold

time. Use the

DATA

dial to adjust the time. The setting

values are 0 sec, 1 sec (default setting), 2 sec and inf

(hold forever).

Release Time knob: Touch this to set the release time. Use

the

DATA

dial to adjust the time. The setting values are

Slow

,

Normal

(default setting) and

Fast

.

Over Level knob: Touch this to set the level at which the

overload indicator lights. This is the amount in dB

below the maximum level (full scale). Use the

DATA

dial to adjust the level. The setting values are

–0.20

dB

(default setting),

–0.17

dB

,

–0.13

dB,

–0.10

dB,

–0.06

dB,

or

–0.03

dB

.

This setting is reflected in the Audio Over setting of

the

Auto

Marker

item on the

OPTIONS

page of the

REC

SETUP

screen.

Ref. Level Line button: Touch to turn the reference level

line that appears on the level meter ON (default

setting) or OFF.
