Introducing Bluetooth
Your new LS5145 telephone system wth Bluetooth wreless technology has the followng features:
Par up to eght Bluetooth enabled cell phones and/or headsets wth the telephone base.
Connect a maxmum of two cell phones to make and receve
CELL calls. Only one cell phone can
be actve on a call at a tme.
Connect a Bluetooth enabled headset for makng and recevng
HOME calls.
Conference CELL and HOME calls.
Make and receve calls usng your cell phone plan whle utlzng the ease and comfort of your
home telephone system.
IMPORTANT INFORMATION
Refer to the user's manual of your cell phone or headset for more nformaton about ts Bluetooth
functon.
Operate your Bluetooth devce wthn 12 feet from the telephone base. Bluetooth technology
operates best wthn a short range. Keepng wthn 12 feet wll mantan the connecton qualty of
the Bluetooth devce wth the telephone base.
Make sure that your cell phone has sufficient signal strength. You may need to move the cell phone
and telephone base to a locaton where the cell phone sgnal strength may be stronger.
Charge your Bluetooth cell phone whle t s connected to the telephone base. Your cell phone's
battery wll dscharge faster whle t s connected wrelessly to the telephone base.
Montor your cell phone's usage because artme s deducted from your cellular plan for the duraton
of the CELL calls.
Refer to the Bluetooth setup secton (page 19) to learn how to set up and manage your Bluetooth
devce(s). Refer to the Telephone operation secton (page 59) on how to operate your Bluetooth
devces wth your new LS5145 telephone system wth Bluetooth wreless technology. Refer to the
Troubleshooting section (page 100) if you experience difficulty using the telephone system.
