Spare battery (optional)
You can keep a charged spare battery (purchased separately) n the telephone base. The spare battery
compartment s located at the bottom of the telephone base. The charged spare battery allows you
to quckly replace a depleted handset battery, or n the event of a power falure, make and receve
short calls for up to three hours, dependng on the amount of use.
To nstall and charge a spare battery:
Use only
the suppled
rechargeable
battery or
compatble
replacement
(purchased
separately).

compartment cover
and slde t towards the
center of the telephone
base untl t clcks nto
place.
When you have finished installing the spare battery, the battery charging icon will appear in the top
rght corner of the telephone base dsplay. It may take up to 24 hours for the spare battery to reach a
full charge. Once the spare battery s fully charged, you can keep t charged untl needed.

the battery compartment
cover out of the
telephone base to open.
2. Insert the plug securely
matchng the color-
coded label nsde the
compartment. Place the
battery wth the label
