Information about caller ID with call waiting
Your new LS5145 telephone system supports caller ID servces provded by most local telephone
servce companes. Dependng on your servce subscrpton, you may see the caller’s number, or the
caller’s name and number which are sent by the telephone company after the first or second ring. Caller
ID allows you to see the name, number, date and tme of calls on the HOME and CELL lnes.
Caller ID wth call watng lets you see the name and telephone number of the caller before answerng
the telephone, even when on another call. In addton, the tme and date are sent by the telephone
and cellular servce provders along wth the caller ID nformaton. These servces are avalable only
f both you and the caller are n areas offerng caller ID servce, and f both telephone companes
use compatble equpment.
If you smultaneously receve ncomng calls on the
HOME and CELL lnes, the caller ID screen wll
dvde nto two parts. The top part wll dsplay the HOME caller ID nformaton, whle the bottom part
the CELL caller ID nformaton.
Contact your local telephone company and cellular servce provder f:
You have both caller ID and call watng, but as separate servces (you may need to combne
these servces).
You have only caller ID servce, or only call watng servce.
You don’t subscrbe to any caller ID or call watng servces.
You can use ths product wth regular caller ID servce, or you can use ths product’s other features
wthout subscrbng to ether caller ID or combned caller ID wth call watng servce.
