Number of rings
By default, the answerng system answers an ncomng HOME call after four
rngs. You can set the answerng system to answer an ncomng HOME call
after two, four, or sx rngs. You can also select Toll Saver (see below).
To set the number of rngs:
1. Press the
MENU softkey on the telephone base to enter the man menu.
2. Press the UP and DOWN NavKeys to hghlght Answering System, then
press the SELECT softkey to enter the Answering System menu.
3. Press the UP and DOWN NavKeys to hghlght Number of Rings, then
press the SELECT softkey. You can then select:
Answer on 2 Rings - The answerng system answers the ncomng
call after two rngs.
Answer on 4 Rings - The answerng system answers the ncomng
call after four rngs.
Answer on 6 Rings - The answerng system answers the ncomng
call after sx rngs.
Toll Saver - The answerng system answers a call after two rngs
when there are new messages, and after four rngs when there are
no new messages.
4. Press the UP and DOWN NavKeys to hghlght an opton, then press the
SET softkey to save the settng.
