The adjustment of VEGAMET and MINICOM
is identical. Adjustment is made with six keys.
A small display shows you, apart from the
measured value, a short message on the
menu item or on the value of a menu adjust-
ment.
The information volume of the small display,
however, cannot be compared with that of the
adjustment program VVO, but in conjunction
with the following menu schematic of VEGA-
MET 515V and MINICOM the adjustment will
not be a problem. Perhaps the adjustments
can be carried out more quickly and directly
with the small adjustment field than with the
PC.

Setup - Adjustment with VEGAMET or MINICOM
6.3 Adjustment with the adjustment
module MINICOM
Beside the PC, the ultrasonic sensors VE-
GASON 54V … 56V can also be adjusted
with
- the signal conditioning instrument
- or detachable adjustment module MINI-
COM.
For the adjustment with VEGAMET signal
conditioning instrument all adjustment options
as with the PC are available. The adjustment,
however, is different in the appearance, but
not in the functions.
With the adjustment module MINICOM only
the sensor-relevant adjustment are possible,
such as e.g. adjustment, operating range,
measuring conditions, sensor scaling or false
echo memory. However, all adjustment steps
relating to the configuration of the VEGAMET
signal conditioning instrument and their signal
processing (configuration of the inputs and
outputs, linearisation curves, simulation …)
are not possible.
