3.2 Coupling of the carriers

If the number of available modules of a car-
rier is not sufficient, the VEGALOG 571 can
be completed by a second rack.

The carriers are positioned one beneath the
other and connected via a supplied bus
cable. The bus cable is inserted into a plug
connection on the rear of the bus board.

For the configuration with two racks, two
switch positions must be checked and, if
necessary, adjusted according to the follow-
ing table:
- hook switch for termination resistor
- slide switch.
