Apply power to the new CPU and allow 2 minutes for the device to self-initialize prior to
performing Step 4. If the new CPU is known to already have an IP address as specified in the
Step 4 dialog box, select the Skip This Task check box prior to clicking Next. Otherwise, leave
the check box cleared and just click Next.

A confirmation dialog box will display asking for confirmation that the old CPU has been
replaced and the new CPU is installed and has been powered on for at least 2 minutes.

Several progress messages will display prior to the Step 5 dialog box as shown below. In this
step, the HMI will read the firmware versions of each CPU and verify that they match.
