2. CONFIGURATION PARAMETERS

There are various parameters which are used to initialize and configure the DeviceNet software.

Parameters are divided in 3 “blocks”. From parameter 400 to 419 there are general parameters.

From parameter 420 to 429 there are parameters for LocalBus communication. From 430 to 439 there are
parameters for Predefined mode. You can load parameter default values in the blocks you don’t use.

The parameters are:

400

-

DNetEnable:

Enable/disable DeviceNet communications. This parameter is analyzed at power-on only.

0

=

Disable DeviceNet communications

1

=

Enable DeviceNet communications (LocalBus or Predefined Mode)

2

=

Enable DeviceNet communications (LocalBus and Predefined Mode simultaneously)

Default value

=

0 (disable).

401

-

DNetStatus:

Status of DeviceNet communications. The DeviceNet software writes a status code to this parameter. The value
0 means no error. See appendix B for error types.

402

-

DNetStAux:

Contains an auxiliary status code if necessary. The value 0 means no error. See appendix B for error types.

403

404

-

DNetMacld:

Defines the node MAC ID (node address).

Default value

=

63.

405

-

DNetBaud:

Defines the DeviceNet Baud Rate as follows:

ONetBaud

Description

0

DeviceNet Baud rate @ 125 Kbps

1

DeviceNet Baud rate @ 250 Kbps

2

DeviceNet Baud rate @ 500 Kbps

TNet2O

Default value

=

(125

Kbps)
