Example 3b: Removing a tie from a set of ties (TPX 88 only)

This example can be performed on a TPX 88 only.

The following steps show an example in which an existing tie is removed from the
current configuration. Where an explanation is helpful, the steps show the front
panel indications that result from your action.

This example assumes that you have performed example 1 and example 2.

Press and release the Esc button.

Press and release the input 5 button (figure 3-17).

Press and release the input 5 button.
The button lights green.

The output 1, output 3, output 4, and output 8 buttons light green to indicate the ties created in
example 1 and example 2.

Press and release the output 4 button (figure 3-18).

The current configuration is now defined as input 5 tied to output 1, output 3,
and output 8.
