Viewing and adjusting the input audio level (TPX 88 A only)

On the TPX 88 A, the audio level of each input can be displayed and adjusted
through a range of -18 dB to +24 dB to ensure that there is no noticeable volume
difference among sources. The audio level can be adjusted from the front panel or
under RS-232/RS-422 control.

The input level adjustment does not affect the audio portion of the twisted pair
link output on RJ-45 connectors.

The input level adjustment will not work for an input whose tied local output
is muted. If one or more local outputs are muted, press the Mute All button
once or twice as necessary to turn off the Mute All LED.
