5. TERMINAL MODULE
5.1. Configuration and Function
All segments start out on a terminal module.
It anchors all attached components to the profile rail and contains the electric backplane (energy and data bus).
They can not be planned in the hardware configuration programs (e. g. Siemens Step7).
