Bar codes

These commands format and print bar codes and are
described in order of their hexadecimal codes.

Note: A756 firmware can be set for module widths in bar

codes ranging from 2 dots to 4 dots per module (DPM) for

the narrow modules. The default is 3 DPM.
A760 firmware range from 1 dot per module (DPM)

printed on the receipt, The default is 2 DPM.

Select printing position of HRI characters

Value of n:

Printing position

0 = Not printed

1 = Above the bar code

2 = Below the bar code

3 = Both above and below the bar code

Default:

0 (Not printed)

Prints HRI (human readable interface) characters above or
below the bar code.

Select pitch of HRI characters

Value of n:

0 = Standard pitch at 15.2 CPI

1 = Compressed pitch at 19 CPI

Default:

0 (Not printed)

Selects standard and compressed font for printing bar code
characters.
When slip is selected as the interface, HRI is always
compressed.

Sets the bar code height to (n/154”) for receipt and
