Wiring and Connecting the Terminal Block
The table below describes how to connect the power cord to the DC Industrial
Personal Computer:
Marine Certification Connections
If the product is used in an environment requiring marine certification, a power line
filter must be in the power line.
For the Noise Filter for Marine Certification, please refer to "Accessories"
(page. 161).
Step Action
1 Remove all power from the Industrial Personal Computer and confirm that the
DC power supply has been disconnected from its power source.
2 Remove the terminal block from the power connector and connect the power
cord to the terminal block as shown below:
Use wire with:
z cross-section 0.75 mm

to 2.0 mm
2
(AWG 18 to AWG 14)
z maximum operating temperature not less than 75
°C (167 °F).
3 Place the terminal block in the power connector and tighten the screws.
NOTE: The recommended torque to tighten these screws is 0.5 N•m (4.5 lb-
in).
