IMPORTANT!

Two Systems On A Common Wall Must Meet At A Vertical Column!

If Adjacent Systems Are Installed Along A Sidewall, Space Motor Mount Brackets Equally

On Each Side Of A Vertical Column. Distance Of Separation Between Motor Mount

Brackets Should Be 3 ft. 3-1/2 in. (100 cm) Center-To-Center.

1.

Close curtain to fully lowered position.

2.

Position top edge of motor mount bracket even with top of curtain. Position center of motor
mount bracket at a distance D from end of curtain as shown in Fig. 8. Refer to Table 2 below to
determine distance D for system you are installing. NOTE: If two adjacent systems are installed,
equally space motor mounts on each side of a vertical column. Locate motor mounts 3 ft. 3-1/2
in. (100 cm) apart center-to-center. See Fig. 8 & Fig. 9 below.

Hold motor mount bracket against panel at position where bracket is to be attached (from step 2
above). Mark the four screw holes of motor mount bracket. Or use hole pattern as shown to
mark screw hole locations. Drill holes for 3/8-16 screws. See Fig. 9.

4.

Firmly fasten motor mount bracket to stringer using 3/8-16 screws and nuts as shown in Fig. 9.

5.

Attach motor support arm to motor using M8 screws provided. See Fig. 10.
