6.3.2 Double Stack System Framing
Double stack framing provides for a two tier curtain system along the outside wall of building.
The curtain system attaches to horizontal stringers.
The bottom stringer should be at least 1 ft. (30 cm) above ground level.
The middle stringer must be installed at height A (see Table 1, page 1) above the top of the
bottom stringer as shown in the diagram above.
The top stringer should be installed at height B (See Table 1, page 1) above middle stringer as
shown in the diagram above.
Pocket kits are available to enclose openings.
