6.3 Framing
A single rollup curtain system may be installed or a double stack rollup curtain system may be
installed. Review the following descriptions of single framing and double stack framing. Adjust
your framing members as required to fit the size system that you are installing.
6.3.1 Single System Framing
Single framing provides for a one tier curtain system along the outside wall of building. The
curtain system attaches to horizontal stringers.
Bottom stringer should be at least 1ft. (30cm) above ground level.
The top stringer should be exactly at height A (See Table 1, page 1) above the bottom stringer as
shown in the diagram above. Install or adjust top stringer to this specification.
Pocket kits are available to enclose openings.
