Load Collectors
Concept: This function allows you to send account information from Badger READCENTER
to the collection device for the purpose of gathering meter readings.
Select Load Collectors listed on the main menu under Meter Reading Cycle.
Note: Prior to beginning with Step 1 below, select the correct setting name for the device being
loaded. It is recommended that a separate setting name be created for each reading device
labeled with the type of device being utilized. Be sure to select the appropriate setting name for
loading the desired device.
 Step 1. Select accounts to be loaded by specifying a group; or a range of route or
account numbers. For more information on setting up account groups, see page 27.
 Step 2. Click View Selected Accounts to verify the chosen accounts. A box at the
bottom of the form shows the number of accounts selected to be loaded.
 Step 3. (Note: Insert the memory device or diskette before proceeding.) Select the
device (Handheld or Laptop) and enter the File Location where the information will be
sent. You may also click Browse to look for the File Location.
 Step 4. Click Load Collector to send the file to the designated location.
