Manual Conventions

Items on READCENTER screens that you will be asked to select or choose by clicking a
button, highlighting, checking a box, or another similar means will be bolded and capitalized in
the manual's text. (Example: Click once on the View Report button.)

Names of boxes, columns, fields, sections, etc. will appear in text as they appear on
READCENTER screens - usually this means first letters will be capitalized.

(Example: Meter

Reading Cycle.)

Options, messages, and special markings will appear in quotation marks, with first letters
capitalized. (Examples: “Save to History” and "Unread.")
