Load Collectors
Everything is now ready to load collection devices. Load Collectors allows you to define
multiple settings. You may define a setting for each collection device, each meter reader, or for
any other factor that reflects how you read meters. Each load collector setting in turn may have
an account group, range of routes, or range of accounts. In addition, other options may be
permanently defined.
The handheld reader uses a USB memory device for the load process. The laptop reader may
use a diskette or a USB memory device. The memory device or diskette must be inserted
before executing the steps below.
Multiple settings can be defined for this function. For example, each collection device may have
a setting that points to the location of a USB memory device or diskette assigned to it.
Note: If multiple setting names are defined, select the one needed from the drop-down box at
the top of the form before beginning with Step 1.
