8. Account Groups – Route Selection Method
This section describes an alternate method of selecting routes to include in groups. It is based
on the specific stage of a route in the meter reading process. The various stages are:
 Ready to Read Input: A Save/Clear operation has been performed and the route is ready to
accept information from the billing system to begin the meter reading process.
 Not Loaded: The route has updated information from the billing system and is ready to be
loaded to a collection device.
 Loaded: The route has been loaded to a collection device and is in the process of being read.
 Ready to Write Output: The route has been unloaded from the collection device and is ready
to be included in a file to the billing system.
