that are not currently attached will be removed from the database.
You must reboot the SNC 5100 after performing this procedure for
the changes to take effect.

Step 1.

Connect a service terminal to the SNC 5100.

For information about how to do this, see “Connecting to the
Service Port” on page 95.

Step 2.

Press the Enter key on the service terminal.

If the prompt is not displayed, go to “Service Port MAP” on
page 75.

Step 3.

From the service terminal, enter the

mapShowDatabase

command

to display the contents of the database.

For more information, see “mapShowDatabase” on page 146.

Step 4.

From the service terminal, enter the

mapShowDevs

command to

display LUN assignments for the attached devices that have been
mapped.

"mapShowDevs"

command on page

147.

Step 5.

From the service terminal, enter the

mapWinnowDatabase

command to remove LUN assignments for devices that no longer
need to be kept.

on page 148.

Step 6.

Reboot the SNC 5100.

Step 7.

After the SNC 5100 has finished booting, repeat steps 3 and 4 to
verify that all attached devices have been mapped.

Perform these steps if a host is not able to access SCSI or Fibre Channel
devices.

Step 1.

Connect a service terminal to the SNC 5100.
