Step 3.

If the test passes, remove the loop back plug and go to

"Test SCSI

Port 1 and 2"

If the test does not pass, go to “Start MAP” on page 42.

Test SCSI Port 1 and 2

Step 1.

Attach the appropriate VHDCI cable between SCSI 1 and 2.

Step 2.

From the service terminal, enter the

scsiChannelTest 1,2

command.

For more information, see the

"scsiChannelTest (x,y)"

command on page 193.

Step 3.

If the test passes, remove the loop back cable and go to

"Test SCSI

Port 1 and 2"

.

If the test does not pass, go to “Start MAP” on page 42.

Test SCSI Port 3 and 4

Step 1.

Attach the appropriate VHDCI loop back cable between SCSI 3
and SCSI 4.

Step 2.

From the service terminal, enter the

scsiChannelTest 3,4

command.

Step 3.

If the test passes, remove the loop back cable and go to

"Ethernet

Test"

.

If the test does not pass, go to “Start MAP” on page 42.
