To print a booklet in Windows

Open the printer driver. (See “Open the printer driver” on page 22.)

On the Finishing tab, select Print on Both Sides.

Select Flip Pages Up, if necessary.

Select the booklet layout from the Booklet Printing drop-down list, and then click OK.
To print a booklet in Mac OS
Before printing a booklet for the first time, make sure that you have installed the HP Manual Duplex and Booklet software.
This software requires a custom installation and is available for Mac OS 9.2.2 and earlier.
Note
Mac OS X does not have the ability to print a booklet.

In the software application, click the File menu, and then click Print.

Select Layout from the pull-down menu, and then click Print on Both Sides.

Select Plug-In Preferences from the pull-down menu, Print-Time Filters, and Booklet.

Click Save Settings.

Click Booklet Printing.

Click Format Booklet.

Select the Paper Size from the pull-down menu, and then click Print.
