Faulty Sensor Indication

The Security Display Module can display
faulty sensor bypass information (sensors
that were defective or doors that were left
open at the time the system was armed). In
addition to the type of sensor, the system will
also report the time and date of the bypassed
sensor.

After disarming, turn the ignition switch to the
ON position.
If a multiple faulty sensor conditions are
present during the last arming cycle, the
system will report the last-most faulty sensor.
The sensor name, date and time will appear
in the Security Display module.

Display Pattern
After “SENSOR NAME + DATE” have been
scrolled one time, “TIME” is repeatedly
displayed for 3 seconds.

NO FAULTY SENSOR

If an up or down arrow exists to the right of
the tripped sensor display, other information
is available. The system has the capability of
displaying up to eight of the last faulty sensor
events.
Press the EXT2/EXT3 or EXT1/VALET
button to change the Faulty information
display.
