Coded Disarm
Registration
For increased protection, a disarm code can
be registered into the SEC-8063 for manual,
coded disarming. The following shows how to
register the manual disarm code.
Call the Valet Information mode. (See Page
112.)
In the Valet Information mode, press the
EXT2/EXT3 or EXT1/VALET button while the
current mode is displayed to set the Code
Disarm registration mode.
“CODE DISARM” will appear in a scrolled
display.
Note: Pressing MODE button returns to
“VALET INFORMATION” scroll
display.
Press the TX/PANIC button. This will set the
Code Disarm input mode.
“– – – –” will be displayed. The first digit will
flash. A 4-digit code is ready to be entered.
Note: Pressing MODE button returns to
“VALET INFORMATION” scroll
display.
Press the EXT2/EXT3 or EXT1/VALET
button and enter the number of the first digit.
EXT2/EXT3 button: Number count down
EXT1/VALET button: Number count up
After entering the number, set and send the
digit with the TX/PANIC button.
Note: Keep the code number entered
securely on a memo.
