If the SEC-8063 detects a faulty sensor (other
than the door input) when it is armed, the
SEC-8063 will chirp the siren three times six
seconds after the system is armed to warn
you of this abnormality. The system will then
arm, monitoring all sensors except the faulty
sensor input. Once the faulty sensor input
becomes active, the SEC-8063 will then
monitor all working sensor inputs.
If a door is left open or the pin switch was to
become defective, the SEC-8063 will ignore
the door input for 45 seconds after the
system is armed. If, after 45 seconds the
SEC-8063 still sees the doors open, it will
chirp the siren three times to warn you of the
open door. Again, the system will ignore this
sensor input until it becomes active. When
the door sensor becomes active, the SEC-
8063 will then monitor all working sensors.
The SEC-8463 Remote Control has the
capability of controlling up to two compatible
main units independently.
