Amount of time the siren sounds when the
alarm is tripped or when the panic function is
activated.

To turn the security system’s protection on.

The mode in which the doors are locked
when the system is armed automatically
(passively).

The mode in which the system is armed
automatically when the last door is closed
after the ignition is turned off.

The audible sound emitted from the siren
when the system is armed and disarmed, and
when the outer sector is violated.

The mode in which the system cannot be
armed. Useful when the vehicle is being
serviced, valet parked, or washed. This valet
mode will not sound the siren if the hood or
trunk is opened.

To turn the security system’s protection off.

The 10 second time period (or 30 seconds, if
selected via the Function Setup Menu) before
the system is armed after the ignition is
turned off and the last door is closed.
(Automatic (passive) mode only)

If a door or trunk is opened during the Exit
Delay Time, the timer will reset itself and
restart when the door or trunk is closed.

Each time the button on the remote control is
pressed, the transmitted code is changed.
