Front panel
• Open the front door flap when inserting a
disc or using the front panel connectors.

STANDBY/ON
Switches the system on or into standby.

HDMI indicator (Red)
Lights when this system is connected to HDMI
(HDCP) compatible component.
Also lights during initialization, after you plug
this unit into an AC outlet.

Disc tray

OPEN/CLOSE
Opens/closes the disc tray.

PHONES jack
Connect headphones.

MCACC jack
Use to connect the supplied microphone for
the Auto MCACC setup (page 22).

iPod DIRECT/USB terminal
Use to connect your Apple iPod as an audio
source (page 40), or connect a USB audio
device for playback (page 42).

Front panel display
See Display below for details.
10 Motion sensor
When the front panel display is off, if Display
Mode is set to Auto Display, the display will
automatically turn on when movement is
detected by the motion sensor (page 70).
11 Action indicator
Lights when a touch sensor operation is
performed.
