2 Raise the CPU lock levers of the CPU socket.

Raising the CPU lock lever

CAUTION: Before you install a CPU into a CPU socket, make
sure that the lever of the CPU socket is full opened (about
135 degrees).
If you insert the CPU without opening the lever of the CPU
socket completely, it will not only cause the recognition failure
of the CPU, but also damage the CPU of CPU socket, or
generate short circuit inside the CPU socket, which may
require the repair.

3 Align the CPU pins correctly with the holes in the socket, and

insert the CPU module as far as it will go.

Press in the CPU module until both ends are even and flat.
Check it has gone in all the way.
